About Me
My name is Lindsey Baker, and I was born in Topeka, KS. My family and I moved to Plano, TX when I was 12 years old. I attended the University of North Texas and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Interior Design. After graduation, I worked in the hospitality design industry in DFW for 8 years before switching over to residential design in 2021.

Interior design has been my passion ever since I was a little girl when I was building spaces out of paper & shoe boxes for my dolls. As I got older my passion grew towards the technical aspects of the industry. I love creating drawings for specialty custom cabinetry and built-ins for those very specific needs. However, building the models that set the scene for the beautiful renderings that allow the clients to see your complete vision for their space is 100% my favorite! This led me to pursue my dreams and open my own company, Design Lindz in March 2023 to offer my drafting and rendering services to my fellow designers and contractors. As my business grows, I am looking forward to developing new relationships with designers and contractors across the country, including you!
